Did you guys watch Texas Women this summer? You know we did around here and we recapped it weekly. We loved all the girls…still do! We are hoping to see them back for a second season. We especially loved Ali Dee and her great style (and rocking music!)
We asked Ali to do a bit of browsing around our site, and to pick out a few of her favorite things. She picked 2 amazing outfits, and the best part…we are giving away those items to you guys! We have 4 days of giveaways this week!!! Each day I will post a couple of items and each day you can comment on that post to be entered to win one of those items. We will have some “extra entry” opportunities as well. Each giveaway will be open for 1 week.
In the mean time, head over to iTunes and download Ali’s single, World’s Gone Crazy. I think listening to it 3 times a day will increase your chances of winning. Just a thought!
Check back tomorrow for our first giveaway post!!
Let’s start with the babies and work our way through the family…
Start them off right in life with these John Deere Infant’s Wellington Soft Sole Booties. So adorable. When they outgrown these, they can move on to the John Deere Infant Boots.
There are plenty of boot choices for mama too…
These Ariat Women’s Showbaby Square Toe Wingtip Cowboy Boots are my top pick.
Pink boots for men….well, come on. Yes, real men do wear pink…I can prove it. But probably not pink boots. This Wrangler Men’s 20X Long Sleeve Plaid Western Button Down Shirt can and should be rocked by every man.
Let’s go back to the women… this Rock and Roll Cowgirl Women’s Peasant Top with Cross Embroidery is sure to turn some heads, in a good way!
I am kind of wishing this Cruel Girl Girl’s Long Sleeve Print Western Snap Shirt came in my size!
And back full circle to the babies…
Wrangler Infant’s Western Print Fleece Blanket
Wait…did I mention jewelry? I love these Kender West Women’s Leopard Print Beaded Earrings.

This fall we’ve expanded our Panhandle Slim selection online to include the Rock and Roll Cowboy and Rock and Roll Cowgirl lines. These lines are inspired by and meant to capture the look and feel of the emerging Red Dirt music scene that has begun to spread across the country.
Named for the color of dirt found in much of Oklahoma, the Red Dirt music scene began in Stillwater, home to Oklahoma State University. As many musicians began migrating to Austin or Dallas, the scene became fully entrenched in Texas and has begun to define the sound there. Often referred to as Americana or alt-country, Red Dirt music is often a hybrid of rock and country with dashes of traditional American music like blugrass, blues, and honky tonk thrown in for style. Some of the better known Red Dirt artists include Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rogers Band, Stoney Larue, Red Dirt Rangers, and No Justice.
To reflect the eclectic styles found in Red Dirt music, the hoodies, tanks, thermals, and t-shirts of the Rock and Roll lines start with lots of camouflage, pinks, and blacks and add screen printed graphics to give them extra attitude. So be sure to check out the next Red Dirt show in your area, but don’t be caught going without your Rock and Roll Cowboy or Cowgirl gear from Panhandle Slim.
