Just wanted to keep y’all up to speed on some singles that have been released recently. First up, Tim McGraw’s Truck Yeah from his upcoming next album on Big Machine Records. Definitely a fun song, one that Tim pulls off perfectly.
Next up, Sarah Darling’s Home to Me. If you loved Sarah’s Blackbird that we told you about recently on a Wear It post, then you’ll love this single. Definitely go have a listen to this one.
And last, I’d like to fill you in on Darius Rucker’s True Believers. A love song that will make you love Darius Rucker even more. Go check this single out and you’ll see why Darius is a star.
So what else are you guys listening to? I’m definitely full force listening to last week’s release by Radney Foster. Still in my rotation is Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away. My 3 year old is full force stuck on Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. He and I both know the words by heart.

New Music Releases

As a HUGE Radney Foster fan, I feel compelled to tell you about Del Rio, Texas Revisited: Unplugged and Lonesome. If you aren’t familiar with Radney Foster, let me give you a little background. Foster was part of a Grammy award winning duo called Foster & Lloyd. When they dissolved their duo, Foster’s debut solo album was called Del Rio, TX 1959. This album was an homage to his hometown and produced 4 top 40 hits. You may have heard of those: “Just Call Me Lonesome,” “Nobody Wins,” “Easier Said Than Done” and “Hammer and Nails.”
It has now been 20 years since that release and he’s rereleasing the album acoustically. I mean that might be the best news ever! The only way to make greatness greater is to redo it acoustically!
Listen to these: “Easier Said Than Done”, “Nobody Wins”, “Went For A Ride”.
What else are y’all listening to? If you are struggling with what to listen to, definitely take my advice and listen to this one!
Albums I Love: This World We Live In

I honestly can’t remember how I came about this album but boy oh boy am I glad I did. I must have listened to this album a gagillion times. Radney Foster is a GREAT songwriter, you will recognize some of the songs on this and other albums because other artists have done covers of his songs. My favorites from this album are “Kindness of Strangers”, “New Zip Code” and my absolute fav “Half of My Mistakes”.
