Looks like Gretchen Wilson is back in the ball game here…she’s got a new video out called Still Rollin’ and I think she’s on FIYAH with this one. It really showcases her voice.

Great song right? I little reminiscent of Bob Seger’s Against the Wind am I right? And let’s talk about her laid back look, I’m loving it! Very simple and very rock n roll. Just take any black tee with graphic art on it and pair with with some black jeans and some rockin’ boots and you are DONE! Here’s how I’d do it the Langston’s way.

Sarah Darling has a video out right night called Home to Me and I gotta say, I just love her look. She’s got some great outfits, hair and makeup too! And of course a great sound! Let’s check it out!

I love the denim shirt over a dress and tied at the waist look. It’s a very simple look but wins some major cuteness awards from me. Here’s how you can do it the Langston’s way! I picked out a dress that still has some winter colors to it so you can wear this now. Add a denim shirt and some red sassy boots and you are done!

Wear It: Two Black Cadillacs

I’m sure by now you all have seen Carrie Underwood’s Two Black Cadillacs video that came out a couple of weeks ago right? It’s like a little mini movie! In case you haven’t seen it, it gives a little nod to Stephen King’s Christine at the end. And Carrie did in fact get King’s blessing for that! Check it out here and then we’ll discuss the duds she’s wearing.

Pretty awesome right?! I definitely think the video goes great with the song. Let’s talk about how to recreate our own Underwood inspired funeral attire shall we? First what we need are some snazzy boots (high or low boots will work, we just went with these studded ones). check! Next we need a high-low dress line. check! And last we need some sort of floofy neckline. check!

Have you seen Miranda Lambert’s Fastest Girl in Town video? It’s like a little mini movie! Spoiler alert, if you haven’t seen it, Indy racer Danica Patrick also stars. Check it out:

They are looking hot aren’t they!! I’m loving both Miranda’s and Danica’s outfits. I’ve decided to recreate Danica’s for you today. You can never go wrong with a chambray shirt in your closet along with some studded black boots. And while Danica wears brown leather shorts, you can totally switch that out for a brown skirt.

Joey + Rory have a new video out, When I’m Gone, and oh man is it a tearjerker. I’ll let you get a kleenex first before you watch this. This song is off their new album that is coming out this month called His and Hers and I’ll definitely be downloading this one because I’m a sucker for a sad country song.

See what I mean about needing the kleenex??? Such a beautiful, touching song and the video just showcases the touching sentiment perfectly.

I thought I’d spotlight Joey’s outfits which fall perfectly in line with our hot summer. She wears two different spaghetti strap summer dresses with boots. I could not love this look more and here’s how I’d wear it, the Langston’s way of course.

You guys know I am a fan of CMT’s show Texas Women. The girls crack me up. They are each so different and unique, yet I can relate to each of them. When Brooke took a look at our site she immediately fell in love with the Old Gringo boots. They are top on my list as well. Well made, stylish, classic yet edgy – they are amazing.
