Have you caught Billy Ray Cyrus’ latest video Change My Mind? This song has sort of a southern rock feel to it, almost like a Cross Canadian Ragweed sound. I’m definitely a fan. Check it out.
So what did y’all think? I think as Billy Ray gets older I like him more than his Achy Breaky Heart days. Whose with me on that? I’m also loving this rugged look Billy Ray is sporting in the video. Here’s how you too can pull off the rugged look via Langston’s!
I’m a fan of his subtle plaid shirt with dusty jeans. Also, pay close attention to his boots, they are sorta moccasin-ish! We’ve hooked you up with the main pieces now you just add a solid color undershirt and a straw cowboy hat and you are set! Oh and some aviators for sure!
This outfit is the perfect mix of comfort and style. The banded hem on the tee gives it a finished look while still maintaining the comfort of a tshirt. The cut outs on the boots reinforce the look of the shirt to tie everything together. Classic jeans and a fun bracelet round out the look. The owl on the bracelet is my favorite touch!
Are y’all familiar with Tim McGraw’s Truck Yeah? So it’s been out for a bit on radio and then he just came out with a video for it as well. In my opinion the only thing better than listening to Tim McGraw is looking at Tim McGraw. So let’s take a moment to look shall we?
Ok, now ladies, wipe the sweat off your brow and let’s get down to business on how to dress your man like the one and only Tim McGraw. Here’s how to get ‘r done….step 1: tight, dark t-shirt (long or short sleeved will do fine as long as it’s tight). step 2: tight jeans (light in color but keyword tight). step 3: add some boots and a belt.
Have you seen the latest Carrie Underwood video, Blown Away? It’s seriously movie-like. It’s Carrie Underwood’s version of The Wizard of Oz…yellow brick road and all! Check it out:
Ok, I do agree the video is a bit of a downer, but at the same time it’s stunning visually. As always Carrie’s style is right on target, from her cute sundress at the beginning of the video to the shirt and jeans she wears the rest of the time. I couldn’t love her shirt and jeans outfit more. The gingham shirt, the vest, the skinny jeans and boots. Let’s do this the Langston’s way, shall we?
Zach Brown Band is playing the summer concert series on the Today Show this Friday. I thought maybe I could help him plan for the show with a few shirt suggestions. I know he loved a good short sleeve button up…
It is summer…maybe a more laid back look? A tee? Might I suggest this Langston’s tee?
Whatever he decides to wear, I know he will look great and sound even better. Have you been watching this concert series? I know Maroon 5 was on and Kenny Chesney. I think next month Train will be on it. I am always kind of amazed at how many people gather outside the studios on a daily basis, but for these concerts I totally get it.
So since this seems to be Kenny Chesney week over here, what with his new album release and everything I thought I’d hook y’all up with his latest video, Come Over. Have you seen it? You’d know because it’s a hot and steamy one! Why don’t you go ahead and check it out for yourself first…
See what I mean? Pretty steamy!! Most of the time when we see Kenny he’s decked out in his sleeveless island wear type stuff so it’s a nice change of pace to see him in something nice ala the outfit he’s wear on that huge boat throughout the video. So this would be my version of Kenny’s sophisticated outfit:
In honor of Father’s Day coming up, I thought Rodney Atkins’ He’s Mine was perfect. Check out the video and you’ll see why…looks like Rodney’s own dad makes an appearance at the end!
Cool video huh? Father/Son videos are sorta hard to come by and I love this one. I love that in the song the sons are sorta rebellious in nature and the dads are proud the kids because they are a chip off the old block! Let’s get to the fashion in the video, shall we? Rodney’s style in this video could have been handpicked from Langston’s!! I love a classic pearl snap shirt, jeans and a cap on a guy. Don’t you? So here’s how I’d recreate his outfit…
