Two HUGE releases today folks! Emotional Traffic by Tim McGraw and 100 Proof by Kellie Pickler.

First Up, Kellie Pickler’s 100 Proof. The first thing I noticed about this album is the album cover. It reminds me of old record album covers. So I was not surprised when I started listening to this album and hearing so much traditional sounding country. The first song on the album as a matter of fact is called “Where’s Tammy Wynette”. Kellie definitely takes you back to traditional country roots with this one and there are some darn good songs on here. These are the ones I loved right away: “Tough”, “100 Proof”, “Mother’s Day”, and “Rockaway”. Go check this one out for sure.

Next up, Tim McGraw’s Emotional Traffic. This has been a long awaited release for sure. This is Tim’s last record with Curb Records after a 20 year partnership. Tim has been quoted as saying this is one of his best albums ever. We’ve featured some of the singles off this album but now having had a chance to listen to the whole album, these are the ones that I love from the album: “Right Back Atcha Babe”, “I Will Not Fall Down”, “Better Than I Used to Be”, and “Hey Now”. This is definitely a stand out album from Tim, go get it. Now.

Wear It: Tough

Today I’m going to be setting you up with Kellie Pickler’s outfit in her latest video “Tough”. Y’all this is a very basic outfit, but I gotta tell you, there aint nothing sexier than a white tank, jeans and boots. Check it out:

So what did I tell you? I mean hotcha hotcha right? Basically Kellie has on a basic white tank with several long necklaces, distressed jeans and boots. So here’s how I would put this outfit together Langston’s style:

Miss Me Women’s Knit Burnout Split Strap Racer Back Tank Top – White This top gives you the same effect but because it has the embellishment on it already, you won’t need as many necklaces as Kellie has on.

Cowgirl Tuff Women’s Ain’t My Day To Care Jeans
Women’s Corral Boots with Rose Embroidery & Sequin Horseshoes I can’t tell you what her boots are, but I’m going to pick out a pair that I think go with the entire theme of the outfit/video. These Corral boots are feminine yet still “tough”.

High fashion, runway fashion, every day fashion….for those of us who love clothes, we eat up all types of fashion. Kellie Pickler was in NYC last week and attended the Badgley Mischka runway show. And looked amazing while she was there. This girl can for sure rock a high fashion look…but looks most at home in denim and boots!
