Lots of new specials this week! So exciting! Which one are you most looking forward to? I’m definitely in on the CMA Country Christmas and Oprah show!!

  • CMA Country Christmas will feature Sheryl Crow, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Leann Rimes, Darius Rucker, and Sugarland on ABC on Monday, 11/29
  • The Oprah Winfrey Show will have Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman on her show Monday, 11/29.
  • CBS will have a Grammy Nominations Concert on Wednesday, 12/1 which will feature Miranda Lambert.
  • Keith Urban: Halftime in Real Life will go behind the scenes of Keith Urban’s halftime performance in Dallas on GAC, Wednesday, 12/1.
  • Darius Rucker performs on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday, 12/1.
  • Jimmy Kimmel Live also has a performance by Darius Rucker on Thursday, 12/2.
  • CMT Artists of the Year honors Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band on Friday, 12/3.

This is a big week with the CMAs on Wednesday. Miranda Lambert is nominated with a record breaking 9 nominations. We’ll also get to see the duet with Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson on the show in addition to Gwyneth Paltrow’s performance of Country Strong. What are you most looking forward to?

  • GAC showcases Blake Shelton in The Collection on Monday, 11/08.
  • Reba McEntire performs on Good Morning America on Tuesday, 11/09.
  • Good Morning American has Dierks Bentley performing live from Nashville on Wednesday, 11/10.

I believe I may have jumped the gun on the Braid Paisley release last week. Sorry guys! I hope you weren’t ready to buy it and then devastated. But as luck would have it, this week it really is coming out!! In addition to Paisley’s release, Jason Aldean has his new album coming out this week. It includes that duet with Kelly Clarkson that we told you about a while back. How excited are you?!

Lots of appearances by Brad Paisley and Jason Aldean this week in conjunction with their album releases. What I’m most looking forward to is the Taylor Swift interview withe Ellen DeGeneres. I’m very interested in what she has to say about the songs she wrote about certain people. Very exciting!

Jason Aldean Duets with Kelly Clarkson

Jason Aldean has a new album coming out in November which will feature a duet with Kelly Clarkson.  I for one can’t wait to hear the duet.  I’m a huge fan of Kelly Clarkson. Jason Aldean is a bit on the rock side of country music, so I think the combo will sound awesome.

Look for the album, “My Kinda Party” on November 2.  The duet is called “Don’t You Wanna Stay”.  iTunes currently has the first single off Aldean’s upcoming album for sale here.
