Wear It: A-OK

Neal McCoy has a new video out called A-OK and man o man is it infectious. It’s totally stuck in my head. This song is off his new album that is set for release on March 6 and was co-produced by Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Brent Rowan.

A-OK was filmed in McCoy’s hometown of Longview, TX and he’s got a really down home look going on. Let’s check the video out first:

I love his look, it’s very country and casual, yet very hip. I’m sure his jeans are probably his own 20 year old pair that you could only get that color from a million washings in the washer/dryer, but here’s goes with my Langston’s style selection:

Keith Urban came out with a new video this week, You Gonna Fly. It’s a concert montage type of video, which I always enjoy, specifically from Keith Urban. I’ll tell you why… I’ve been to a Keith Urban concert and he puts on the best. concert. ever. If you weren’t a fan going into the concert, you will be coming out. He generally likes to throw caution to the wind and walk out into the crowd and just play his music with all that energy around him. Here check out the video:

So let’s get talking about Keith Urban’s style. It’s super casual, always jeans and t-shirts. Here’s how I’d formulate a Langston’s style Keith Urban outfit. You can obviously change up the color tee and color of the boot, but I’d definitely say this is Keith’s “uniform”.

I thought it would be nice to start out the new year with a great start…something inspiring! Dierks Bentley has just that song/video. And his style is something any guy can achieve.  It’s a super casual look with some basic pieces you all need to have in your closet. Check out the video:

Inspiring, yes? Kinda tugs on the heart strings, yes? Dierks has that everyday casual look DOWN and he looks GOOD! He’s just got jeans, a tee, a jean jacket (a MUST HAVE) and boots. He’s also got those curls in his hair that are quite cute if I do say so myself. Ok, back to the clothes! Here’s how I’d do it Langston’s style:

We’ve had a request for some Eric Church duds! So let’s all check out the video Drink In My Hand by Mr Eric Church first!

So, dude is pretty hot right? In that bad boy smokey kind of way? Am I right? I am, trust me. Anyway, he’s super casual in this video with layered tees, jeans and boots. Here’s how I’d do it in the Langston’s way:

So there you have it folks…the Eric Church! I’m definitely a fan of the long sleeve tee under the short sleeve tee. It’s casual but it shows you have a bit of fashion sense. And the jeans, I’m definitely in love with Langston’s Rock and Roll jeans…the wash and the stitch…love it! And these boots..GUYS! You NEED these boots!!

I think this new tunic by Lucky is to die for. I love it.

I want to wear it over jeggings with boots…all winter long.  I think a red or green tank under it would be the perfect holiday look.

In checking out the other new items on the site I was blown away by all the new Rock and Roll Cowgirl Jeans.

And a bit less exciting from a fashion standpoint, but very exciting from a comfort standpoint….lots of new socks and underwear!

I love a shirt that can do double duty…or triple duty!

This Men’s Long Sleeve Western Plaid Snap Shirt by Roper in Green is a great example of one shirt that can be worn many ways.

This shirt works great open over a patterned or solid tee. Leave it untucked and roll the sleeves. Wear it with shirts, kaki pants or jeans. An easy, casual look for everyday wear.

PBR Starts Tonight!

It’s finally here. The Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour Championship presented by Dickies hits the Ford Center in downtown Oklahoma City tonight. You won’t want to miss this year’s event with some of the best bull riders and bullfighters in the world.

There are some changes to note: A matinée session has been added on Saturday at Noon. Because of this, the Dickies bullfighters will be at our Saturday autograph session earlier that morning. The bull riders are still scheduled for 11am – 1pm, but the bull fighters will have to take off early for the matinée event. The good news is that this should give everyone easier access to both bullfighters and bull riders, so you’ll be sure to meet all the great PBR talent face to face.

And, of course, there’ll still be the big drawing for free VIP tickets to Saturday night’s event. Plus, the winner will get a limo ride to the event and dinner in bricktown! You can’t beat that. It’s going to be a rockin’ rowdy weekend in Oklahoma City!
