I grew up listening to Don Williams. Tulsa Time? It Must Be Love? Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good? Come on, that’s the good stuff I tell you! So when I heard that he had a new song out AND a video I had to hear/watch it. Bonus points: Keith Urban plays and sings along With Don!

I think Don’s look hasn’t changed much since the good old days and yet it is so not out of style! Anyone can totally pull off this look. Here’s how you can do it the Langston’s way!

Justin Moore has a video out right now called Til My Last Day. He’s got a great look going on in the video. Let’s check it out shall we?

What do you think of his outfit? I’m loving how put together he looks and how any of you men can pull this look off for sure. The key is layering. You start with jeans and a tee or henley and then layer over a jacket. I love that his look is overall dark in color but yet he wears a straw hat. It’s unexpected and I love that! So this is how I would pull it off in the old Langston’s way…

Eric Church…he’s been in the news lately so I figured I’d keep it current. Ha! If you haven’t heard about all the Eric Church drama that has gone down, here’s a little synopsis for you. So now that we are all VERY aware of who Eric Church is, let’s check out his current single, Springsteen. It’s good y’all. And he looks GOOD y’all. Check it.

It’s a good song yes? His outfit is so casually easy. I love his throwback to Springsteen with the flag scarf. You can get Church’s same type of look right here!

Did y’all catch this performance of Miranda Lambert’s Baggage Claim at the 2011 CMA Awards? It’s now become her official video for Baggage Claim. Miranda always has fun outfits and I think she looks great in black…go check it out.

I love the black outfit with those pops of silver she has in her wide belt and jacket. And you know what they always say ladies…black is very slimming! This is how I’d go about putting together a black and silver outfit, Langston’s style.

So that’s how I’d do a silver and black outfit. Those boots are a MUST and you can either add a silver belt like Miranda or a big chunky necklace, or bracelet or like we’ve selected a big ring. In the words of Miranda Lambert’s Baggage Claim, come and get it!

I thought it would be nice to start out the new year with a great start…something inspiring! Dierks Bentley has just that song/video. And his style is something any guy can achieve.  It’s a super casual look with some basic pieces you all need to have in your closet. Check out the video:

Inspiring, yes? Kinda tugs on the heart strings, yes? Dierks has that everyday casual look DOWN and he looks GOOD! He’s just got jeans, a tee, a jean jacket (a MUST HAVE) and boots. He’s also got those curls in his hair that are quite cute if I do say so myself. Ok, back to the clothes! Here’s how I’d do it Langston’s style:

So there you have it! For all you folks having a warm Christmas! A CUTE little sundress with some fabulous red boots. I have these boots myself and I must say they are by far one of my favorites in my closet. And red boots shows off just enough sass. Am I right? I would definitely pair this up with some bright jewelry such as the turquoise necklace the model has on, PERFECT!

Next week I’ll give you a snazzy New Year’s Eve outfit! Is everybody ready for that? It will definitely be FUN!

Cowboy Boots + Leg Warmers

I’m in love with this picture above, specifically the bright colored leg warmers.  I’m also in love with cowboy boots, as we all know. I’m thinking I need to pair up some shorty cowboy boots with some leg warmers or cuffs via etsy and some jeggings. What say you?

Fall Trend – Lace

Lace has been popping up everywhere as a huge trend for Fall. I love how you can play up the sexy side of it, or dress it down for a casual look, or even make it work for work!

This lace shirt by Roper has the sort of built in tank with it – so you don’t need to layer it with anything else.

I’d pair this with some bright boot (Corral Red Boots),  a statement necklace (Cindy Smith) and a night on the town.

For a more casual look, I would go for one of these shirts by Ariat, the burn out tee or the lace henly.

You would want to layer both of these with a tank or tee under them. I think the burn out tee is a great casual option for every day wear. I’d pair it with a lighter tee or tank to really high light the texture of the fabric. The lace henly could be paired with a dark tee and worn under a jack to work…as long as your work isn’t too much of a suit and tie environment!

This week Katie picked our Employee Outfit of the Week.  As with a lot of our outfits, it all starts with the boots. Katie picked Daisey Boots from Corral. She said, “I just love these boots! The daisies make the style more fun and girlie to me.”

Paired with the fun boots, some classic jeans. According to Katie, “…this outfit needs some light colored jeans and what’s better than these by Levi’s? Perfect fit and shade!”  Her pick was the Levi’s 525. These perfect waist, straight leg jeans are an easy to wear jean. The sky color easily pairs with anything.

We saw this Southern Thread Green Snap Shirt a few weeks ago on CMT’s Texas Women on Ali Dee. Katie said, “the shirt’s different colors come together nicely and make this shirt stand out from the crowd.” I bet that was why Ali picked it too!

Rounding out the outfit, some Cindy Smith Bracelets. Katie says they are “the perfect touch” and I could not agree more.  I love the fall colors in this look. Greens, tans, browns, yellows and just a hint of pink. This is the prefect outfit to wear to the next football game or watch party for sure.
