Texas Women

How did we get to the finale already!?!?! Wow. That went fast, but was certainly full of fun. The Vegas trip turned out well for the girls….well, mostly. I think Anna had a rough patch, but all in all it was good. I loved Brooke’s look the second night – a sequined skirt and a long sleeve black top. Very flattering and stylish.

The ladies made a trip to the gun range to shoot some massive artillery. Hannah’s red jeans reminded me of these Lucky Brand Women’s Colorful Sofia Capri pants.

Best line was from Ali, “We love to get gussied up and get pretty, but we also like to go out and shoot some crap sometimes.” Classic.

The last night Anna had on an Aztec print dress, and in the last scene of the show Brooke had on a skirt in that same vein. Come to think of it, Hannah’s poncho when she went to visit Ali on set was too. These types of prints are really hot right now. Here are a few you can add to your closet.

Ali’s shoot went great. Really – what more can I say. She is a natural!!! And she can rock boots and jeans shorts perfectly!

Anna went to some counseling which I think was a great step for her. And not to be cheesy and play of the word step…but…she was stepping out in some cute moccasins. These Minnetonka Moccasin – Women’s Thunderbird Beaded Moccasins are similar to the ones she had on.

I am happy to see Hannah and Brooke getting along. Really everyone is doing well. Brooke has her horse shampoo line, Ali with her music, Hannah with her modeling and it looks like Anna is on the way to figuring out what is holding her back. I think next season everyone will be on their game and shooting for the stars. I can’t wait!!!

Texas Women

Texas Women moved to Friday nights…I hope you guys didn’t miss it! The episode started off with Brooke ad Jason talking about his hunting and her desire to raise a bucking bull. They crack me up. And WOW Jason has a lot of trophy heads! Jason was wearing a camo hat. We have 2 you can pick from, Mossy Oak Men’s Explorer Cap and Justin Men’s Mossy Oak Camo Cap both under $60…really, both under $16.

Ali Dee is heading to Nashville in this episode, but first we see her being cute with Cory. She’s wearing a red plaid shirt and studded boots. This Rock & Roll Cowgirl Women’s Long Sleeve Western Plaid Snap Shirt with Embroidery is a close match but in pink. For studded boots, these Old Gringo Women’s Leigh Anne Studded Cowboy Boots are similar to the brown ones she had on.

Hannah and Anna…I don’t really get this drama. I mean, they lived together before and had these same issues. So why are each f them surprised now? Anna wants things clean, Hannah is a slob. Anna speaks to Hannah in a condescending manner. Helllllloooooo…..we covered all this last season. As far as fashion, Indian inspired prints are hot. Brooke was wearing one in this episode also. This Wrangler Women’s Short Sleeve Falcon Print Tee Shirt is one way to get the look for yourself. This Panhandle Slim Junior’s Feather Sublimation Print Tank Top with Lace Back is somewhat in the same vein as well.

I wasn’t able to get a clear look at anyone’s jeans in this episode. I need some good shots of pockets to be sure…can you ladies help me out with that!?!!? Show your jeans for me next week!!!! Anyway, I did spy some sparkly crosses on Anna’s jeans…maybe these Miss Me Women’s Slim Fit Boot Cut Jeans with Cross Embroidery and I am not at all sure, but I think Brooke was wearing a pair of Southern Thread jeans maybe?

Brooke and Anna were great together. They are birds of a feather and it didn’t surprise me at all when they bumped heads…and it also doesn’t surprise me at all to see them getting along. I think their friendship will be up and down. They are both strong, opinionated women. I am sure raising bulls is a lot of work. A lot. But as far as how the episode was shot and edited they made it look like nothing. As far as the bulls, I think Brooke is making a good decision deciding not to get one! And Buckalicious? Laughing at that still.

Ali did a great job in Nashville and looked great too. She pulls off monster sized earrings so well. I love her song idea. “the relationship is the important thing, not the ring” – so true sister. Loved how easy that writing session was…and love the video concept. Sorry, over use of the word “love” in this paragraph.

What else can I say about this weekend’s episode. I could talk more about Hannah and Anna, but really we don’t need to. I am confused, did Hannah ask Anna to watch her dogs or just assume she would? Either way, they need a break from each other.

I loved the color of Brooke’s shirt at the end…a bright teal. This Adra Women’s Double Strand Multi Color Necklace would look great with it. I could also see this on Ali Dee.

That’s it for this week. Next week they interview male leads for Ali’s video…looks like it will be an embarrassing portion of the episode, kind of like the tire buying scene from a few weeks ago.

Texas Women- Episode 5

In one of the very first scenes this week Brooke has on some red, black and white boots. They instantly made me think of these Lane ‘Margaret’ Cowboy Boots. Focusing on the boots helped me to glaze over during the um…”advice” talk. I am all for girl talk, but nationally televised girl talk? Let’s just say I was glad I wasn’t watching this weeks show with my dad or grandma or anyone!

Speaking of miss Brooke…..check back here tomorrow. We teamed up with her for a fun giveaway!!!!

As for the rest of the episode, Brooke and Jason enjoyed their new advice and gifts. So that’s good. The yoga vs karate scene was cracking me up. Love how CMT kept going back and forth between the two. You have to love that couple. They have lots of spunk and character.

The Hannah, Anna, Ali stuff was odd. I totally get Anna’s point that Hannah is a model and needs to take jobs…but you don’t see one model typically posing for 2 competing brands. So I do think it was odd. That said, she was gorgeous in that headdress! You know I am all about loose associations on here, what can I say, I try. Anyway, Hannah is Choctaw, this shirt has an Aztec print…yea, not even close. But check out this Wrangler Women’s Aztec Print Tank Top anyway.

Anna ended up doing really well with the modeling. It took her a while to get into it, but I think that is to be expected. Can’t wait to see the flip flops she designed. I had no idea about her stroke. How scary! Until her flip flops come out, check out these Justin Women’s Misty Calf Hair Flip Flops with Three Rhinestone Conchos.

Cory was so sweet helping Ali prepare for her new job. He is so level headed and has great advice. I loved how he helped Ali deal with the Hannah thing. He didn’t feed into it and make it bigger, but he also didn’t just dismiss her feelings. He is a good one Ali. Keep him around! I also loved that Ali wanted to know her job. She wasn’t willing to just fake it. When she got advice from the producer about where to stand and what to do, she said “I’ll make it better next time.” She is a classy girl. As far as fashion, I think I spied some embellished pockets when she was outside talking to the girls. These Rock and Roll Cowgirl Women’s Low Rise Skinny Jeans with Nail Head Flaps are a close match.

And I am pretty sure I noticed some Cinch Black Label Relaxed Fit Jeans on Cory.

That’s the recap for this week. I am posting today because tomorrow is GIVEAWAY DAY! Check back here for the what and how.

Texas Women – Episode 3

Ya’ll…these girls are crazy! Bar fights, strip clubs, rodeos..you name it, they get into it! So Brooke didn’t go to jail, but she didn’t go home either.

“She can change a tire, she can beat a man’s ass” – Jason on why he loves Brooke.

Jason wore a cream snap shirt with some light stripes in it. While looking for a match I came across this Ariat Men’s Donny LS Stripe Snap Shirt with Embroidery. It isn’t really the shirt he wore, or even very close…but I totally think he would love this pick and rock it out on the town with Brooke, don’t you?

Brooke wore a few tops this week that reminded me of things we carry. This Iron Horse Women’s Ada Short Sleeve Burn Out T-ShirtI think I have posted before. It is similar to the tank she was wearing in some of the interview scenes. She also wore a foil design tee similar to this Miss Me Women’s Embellished Twist Tank Top.

All ended well that night, as Brooke said “when you don’t go to jail, that’s a good night.” Amen sister. This was a Brooke filled episode, we found out she was a twin, went hat shopping, and met her nieces. I think Brooke’s niece needs this Cowgirl Justice Girl’s “Ain’t my First Rodeo” Short Sleeve T-Shirt don’t you?

Hannah’s love life was front and center in this episode. Angelo or Patrick. Um…hello!?!?!?!? Patrick. Hands down. Hannah….go for Patrick!!! Angelo is not a good pick!!! I know, I know as she said “exotic dancers need lovin’ too” but no. Just no.

In one of the scenes where Hannah is talking to Ali and Cory she is wearing a cowl neck tee similar to this Witness Women’s Cowl Neck Burn Out T-Shirt which by the way is $22!

Miss Ali Dee showed us some of her new clothing collection, which of course we will carry! “Bling is my signature color” – I love it. Lots of cute tees and accessories. Can’t wait! I felt bad that her show didn’t put more money in her pocket. It is a tough business for sure. But she rocked it, and on stage she wore some fringe boots. I bet she would love these new Corral Women’s Fringe Cowboy Boots!

We didn’t see much of Anna in this episode, but I bet we will next week. So what do you guys think…Angelo or Patrick? That’s the question of the day after this episode!
