This past weekend finally felt like sprint around here. Of course it quickly dipped back down into the cold zone….but I know the warm temps will be back.
An afternoon outside with friends, enjoying the sun and a live band – jean shorts and boots…of course!

Well hello there Spring!
Check out these great Spring boots by Anderson Bean. The one with the pink shaft is a kid’s boot and would make any girl happy! The other 2 are women’s (Sweet 16 Floral and Thundercat Floral) and perfect for Spring and Summer.
Anderson Bean is another one of our vendors who have been around for decades….150 years in fact. Their commitment to making quality boots is beautiful. In describing their boots they talk about the “channeled welt construction in the leather insole.” They also describe the “unique construction features…steel shanks for arch support and wooden pegs in the arch area.” They go on to explain that ”unlike a nail, wooden pegs enable the sole of the boot to adjust naturally to changes in temperature and moisture. As the natural leather sole expands and contracts with wear and weather, so do the pegs, therefore they do not fall out or rust like a nail.” Quality and style? I’m sold!
I love when we get a new line in at the store. I love it even more when it’s boots. Can I tell you how over the moon excited I was to open up a box and see these Freebird Boots!?!??!
These short boots can be worn all summer long with skirts, dresses and shorts. But don’t put them up when the cold weather approaches. They are equally amazing with leggings and jeggings.
Now I just need to decide which pair I want…first that is. I think I need both don’t you?
The may issue of People Style Watch had a great section on how to wear white jeans. They are such a versatile piece for Spring and Summer. You can pair them with heels, boots, flats and any number of tops…denim, leather, a tee or even a button down.
These Levi’s cropped leggings are great for summer. Although they are cropped, they are still long enough that you could slide boots over them and no one would know they aren’t full length.
I love this new Roar Women’s “Destiny” Short Sleeve Tee Shirt With Multicolored Embroidery that we just put up. It is a great summer tee with lots of personality. I would love to see it paired with these Turquoise Wrangler Women’s Ultra Low Rise Booty Up Skinny Jeans. Bright, fun and screaming of Spring.

Lots of pinks, oranges and deep reds. I typically view the reds and oranges as more Fall colors, but I can for sure envision these paired with white denim or cut off shorts as a new Spring trend. What do you think? Are certain colors more suited for certain seasons, or can you mix and match?
