Miranda on Project Runway

Did you guys catch Miranda Lambert as a guest judge on Project Runway last week? I missed it, but from what I am reading she was a bit harsh. Gotta love her and her honesty in all areas of life! I loved the slicked back pony she wore. Very sleek. From what I see in the clips I am watching she was honest but sweet – but I guess the articles say she did kind of lay into one guy. Sometimes it has to be done! I also see 2 dresses in most of the clips and while I love the strapless one they focus on…she would ROCK that fringe one!!!

Speaking of rocking, she is totally working this dress! I love that she is not stick thin too. She is curvy and beautiful and packs some attitude. A great woman to have in the spotlight!

 

People Mag – Country Special

Did you guys check out the Country Special edition of People Magazine this month? A few things that caught my eye in it…
Sheer as a Spring Trend: dresses, scarfs and tees. Want to try out this look? Try this Cruel Girl Women’s LS Burnout Tee Shirt in Chocolate Raspberry.

In the all important Hot Guys sections: Trace Adkins in a dark henley. Such a great laid back look. In fact, they show Brad Paisley in one too. His is layered under a snap shirt. This Men’s Dickies Short Sleeve Solid Performance Henley is a great option for Spring since it is short sleeve.

Tour Essentials: I could hang with any of these tours. Did you see this section? Darius Rucker likes to have flavored tootsie rolls on tour, Craig Campbell needs vanilla coffee creamer on hand and Reba packs her iPad. I could hang with any of these tours!

Miranda Lambert on Law & Order

Have y’all heard Miranda Lambert is gonna guest star on a Law & Order: Special Victims Unit? YES! Set your TiVos!! It’ll be airing February 8 and in the episode, an aspiring actress is found unconscious in Central Park with drugs in her system and evidence of sexual trauma. Miranda is cast as another actress who is in danger of being assaulted by the producer of a reality TV show. Harry Connick Jr. and Michael McKean also guest star in the episode.

Miranda tweeted about guest starring back on January 7th: Yall I’m so freaking excited to be on my favorite show ever !!!

I’m pretty pumped about seeing her acting debut and how exciting that she’s making her debut on her favorite show ever!! What do y’all think? Will you be watching? Are you a fan of Law & Order: SVU? I will definitely be checking it out because I’m a MIRANDA LAMBERT fan!!

LeAnn Rimes has a new video out called “Give”. It’s a powerful ballad with a powerful message. LeAnn’s outfit is very soft and subtle, allowing the message of the song to shine through. This outfit also looks decidedly COMFORTABLE y’all! Check it out:

Since we did a girl outfit last week with Martina McBride’s Teenage Daughters, I thought we’d head on over to the men’s section this week.  

Today we are spotlighting Remind Me, the duet between Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on Brad’s latest album.  Now, while I’d love to have Carrie’s dress, shoes, earrings and legs (if I’m being honest), we are gonna send the love Brad’s way and deconstruct his outfit.
