As winter starts to come to a close I find myself in a last ditch effort to make all my cold weather favorites. Slow cooked goodness seems to work better in Fall and Winter.
Everyone has their own chili. The image above is from The Pioneer Woman. I have to agree with her that pairing it with fritos just makes it better! In our house we like beans in our chili, and we top it with cheese and sour cream. I like it spicy but my husband prefers a more mild taste.
Do you have a go to chili recipe? Possibly a family secret one? Is it the same every time or do you mix it up? I hate to measure so mine changes from batch to batch based on how heavy handed I am that day when I pour the spices! I usually use beef, but I have a friend who swears that venison chili is the best.
