Did you know that Dan Post encompass more than just that one brand? Under the Dan Post umbrella you will also find John Deere and Dingo.
Dan Post was founded in the mid 60s. Their website touts that their boots are crafted to be comfortable from day one…and they are! I love the simple and classic feel of their boots. They are traditional and easy to wear and style.
John Deere is also under the Dan Post brand. The boots in this brand are every bit as reliable and rugged as the machinery by the same name. The Men’s lace up and pull on boots will carry you through any job…and the kid’s boots? Have you ever seen anything this cute?
Dingo also fall under Dan Post. I think in the dictionary right next to James Dean they might have a picture of these Harness Boots. They just ooze cool.
Dingo was added to their line up in the mid 70s and has been strong ever since. Ankle boots were hot last year and look to be on trend for this year too. Dingo has us covered. These Twisted Sister ones are my favorite.
Yall know we have to spotlight our boy Blake Shelton when he has a video come out. Sure Be Cool If You Did came out this week and I gotta say, I really like this video…it just seems very real. And Blake is lookin’ good yall! Check it out:
He’s got a great everyday look going on in this video right? I mean really it’s a casual outfit anybody and everybody could pull off. And it is Valentine’s Day isn’t it ladies? You might want to buy one or all of these pieces for your man so you can bring home your own Blake Shelton tonight, right?! Here’s the outfit, the Langston’s way:
I’m not talking about cookies shaped like cowboys or hats or boots. I mean those yummy cookies filled with oats and coconut and pecans. I have also seen versions with m&ms and other things. Mostly in my mind, a cowboy cookie is kind of like a kitchen sink cookie. Throw in what you have…but in searching around it seems that most stick to just coconut and pecans.
We have a few new singles out that you need to know about! First up Kenny Chesney has a new song out called Pirate Flag. I have a feeling with this song that his next album will be more of his island vibe music than his last album was. But honestly, I’m ok with whichever Kenny Chesney we get, I’ll always be a fan!
Next, we have Lady Antebellum’s Downtown. I’m loving the sound of this new single. It’s an upbeat song about a sorta depressing topic but I definitely think the upcoming album is gonna be great if there’s more music like this!
And finally we have the latest songs off Nashville, Consider Me and I’m a Girl which are both sung by Hayden Panettiere. More great stuff from the Nashville television show…so far I have loved almost all of the music that has come off the show. I’m definitely impressed that the cast is singing everything themselves. Are you still watching?
I’ve been listening to all my Miranda Lambert music lately-old and new and this is definitely one of my favorites: White Liar. I found this video of her performing this song for a small live audience and I just love her look in this video. She’s very casual yet stunning. Check it out:
Don’t you love her look? She’s just got a simple tee and jeans on with a gorgeous bracelet but it just looks amazing. I’ve added a belt and boots that I feel like fit her style. Now all you need are some crimson nails and a pink guitar!
Tim McGraw has a new album today. You probably already knew that from all the various interviews he’s done lately along with his cover on People magazine. I’m totally not complaining, I mean the guy is easy on the eyes for sure so I’m up for whatever publicity he wants to do! The new album is called Two Lanes of Freedom. So far you’ve probably already heard Truck Yeah on the radio along with One of Those Nights. Just as a reminder, this is his first album for Big Machine Records since leaving Curb Records who he was with for 20 years. In my mind, the most anticipated song for me off this album is the duet with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban called Highway Don’t Care. In all actuality, I don’t think you could go wrong with a Tim McGraw album…heck I’m still listening to his last one, Emotional Traffic (much to my husband’s dismay). Tim puts out good music, plain and simple. Go check this one out for sure!
Did you guys see Hayden Panettiere in the February Style Watch People? She describes herself as a Glam Tomboy and says she has been wearing cowboy boots more since playing Juliette Barnes in Nashville.
She mentions that she is loving coral and sea foam green right now. I love this coral shirt we have by Cruel Girl. I’d wear mine open over a white tank with skinnies and boots.
She also talks about her favorite sexy look – jeans and a tee with a cool necklace. I love the Lucky Brand jewelry we have in stock right now. Either of these would look great with a simple tee for a casual, secy look.
Do you watch Nashville? Are you a Hayden fan? Her style in this spread has me sold. She is one to watch for sure!
