Tomorrow Langston’s is proud to be a part of the Cowboy & Couture Fashion Show. Pistol Annies have a fun new video out called Takin’ Pills. Have you seen it? Check it out:
Fun right? I love all three of the girls’ outfits. It’s like this country rock edgy look, very no holds barred, you know? They layer their tops and they layer their jewelry and they wear fringy boots. Its all fun all the time! So here’s the outfit that I’d put together based on this video but via Langston’s.
Rock & Roll Cowgirl Women’s Tank Top with Winged Heart Design – Steel
Derek Heart Women’s Short Sleeve Cardigan with Black Lace Panel
Miss Me Women’s Slim Fit Boot Cut Jeans with Hand Whip Stitching
Ariat Women’s Indian Sugar Gypsy Soule Cowboy Boots – Black
Ariat Women’s Vivid Collection Belt – Berry
Cindy Smith Women’s Teal Sheriff Cross Ring
I think this outfit perfectly captures the spirit of the video, just super fun and funky. I’d wear it! Would you?
Zach Brown Band is playing the summer concert series on the Today Show this Friday. I thought maybe I could help him plan for the show with a few shirt suggestions. I know he loved a good short sleeve button up…
This Rock & Roll Cowboy Men’s Short Sleeve Plaid Snap Western Shirt features a blue/cream plaid print on wrinkled fabric with snaps. It would be perfect on Zach.
Or maybe something with more color since the concert is outside and in the morning. Something bright to wake everyone up? This Lucky Brand Men’s Short Sleeve Big Barrel Plaid Snap Shirt even matches the Today Show logo.
It is summer…maybe a more laid back look? A tee? Might I suggest this Langston’s tee?
Whatever he decides to wear, I know he will look great and sound even better. Have you been watching this concert series? I know Maroon 5 was on and Kenny Chesney. I think next month Train will be on it. I am always kind of amazed at how many people gather outside the studios on a daily basis, but for these concerts I totally get it.
Zac Brown Band has a new album coming out today and you are definitely in for a treat. Uncaged is Zac Brown Band’s third album and I’ll call it very eclectic. Zac Brown describes this record as a “country-Southern rock-bluegrass-reggae-jam record”. After listening to it, I’d definitely say it’s all over the map, but it just works, you know? Zac co-wrote 10 of the 11 songs, one of which was co-written with Jason Mraz. Pure and simple, if you are Zac Brown Band fans, you’ll just love this album, it’s got a little something for everyone and for every mood you could be in.
My favorites on first listen are Island Song, The Wind and my hands down favorite on the album is Lance’s Song (which is a tribute to Lance Tilton, an Atlanta based drummer that was friends with the band).
So what are y’all listening to? Will you be buying this album?
As many of you know, Facebook has made some changes lately. To make sure you see our updates, coupons and specials in your news feed, click/hover over the ‘Liked’ button (beneath the cover photo, to the right) and activate the ‘show in news feed’ option. This will allow you to see all of our posts.
Joey + Rory have a new video out, When I’m Gone, and oh man is it a tearjerker. I’ll let you get a kleenex first before you watch this. This song is off their new album that is coming out this month called His and Hers and I’ll definitely be downloading this one because I’m a sucker for a sad country song.
See what I mean about needing the kleenex??? Such a beautiful, touching song and the video just showcases the touching sentiment perfectly.
I thought I’d spotlight Joey’s outfits which fall perfectly in line with our hot summer. She wears two different spaghetti strap summer dresses with boots. I could not love this look more and here’s how I’d wear it, the Langston’s way of course.
So tell me, do you love the video and style? Would you wear it?
