Blake Shelton has a new video out and it’s HOT! (pun intended) Now when I say HOT, I mean that on a few different levels…first off, dude is surrounded by FIRE. Second, he’s in two layers walking in the dessert while the girl in the video gets a spaghetti strap cool dress. Third, I’m recommending you buy his layered look when it’s 100+ degrees where I am. Let’s check out this hotness shall we?
It’s a great outfit though right? Ol’ Blake is looking good! So here’s how I’d do this outfit the Langston’s way:
I love these lighter ones for Summer. Pair them with a sundress and kick back watching a summer sunset or fireworks over the lake. The dark brown is perfect for Fall – pumpkin picking, cider drinking and crunching through the leaves. The black ones are great for Winter – warming by the fire, keeping your feet dry as you find the perfect Christmas Tree, they do it all.
Chris Cagle has a new album out today called Back in the Saddle. This is Cagle’s first album since 2008 and his fifth studio album. He worked with Keith Stegall (Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson) on this album and cowrote or wrote 5 of the songs off this album including Southern Girl, Something That Wild, Dance Baby, Dance, Now I know What Mama Meant, and his next single, Let There Be Cowgirls.
Something That Wild, Let There Be Cowgirls, Dance Baby Dance, and Probably Just Time are some of my instant favorites from the album. Got My Country On is his current single off the album and is already a hit, which is a good sign for the rest of the album.
If you are a country-rock fan, you’ll love this Cagle album.
What else are you listening to? I’ve still been listening to Welcome to the Fishbowl by Kenny Chesney. Are there any albums coming up that you are anticipating?
I grew up watching that show. I know who shot JR. I can hear the theme song playing in my head. Loved it. I haven’t watched the new one yet, but I think I should be. Do you guys like it? Did I miss too much to start watching now?

So since this seems to be Kenny Chesney week over here, what with his new album release and everything I thought I’d hook y’all up with his latest video, Come Over. Have you seen it? You’d know because it’s a hot and steamy one! Why don’t you go ahead and check it out for yourself first…
See what I mean? Pretty steamy!! Most of the time when we see Kenny he’s decked out in his sleeveless island wear type stuff so it’s a nice change of pace to see him in something nice ala the outfit he’s wear on that huge boat throughout the video. So this would be my version of Kenny’s sophisticated outfit:
Kenny Chesney’s new album Welcome to the Fishbowl came out yesterday. I’ve been listening to it, because of course I bought it…pre-ordered it actually. I’m a big Kenny Chesney fan, have most, if not all, of his albums and have seen him in concert. I’d say, if you like Kenny Chesney, you will like this album. It has that same sort of sad, searching, yet mature sound that his last album had with a few rockin’ songs thrown in. He co-wrote three of the songs, one of which is Welcome to the Fishbowl itself. A pleasant surprise was his rendition of El Cerrito Place, which I knew from Charlie Robison.
Definitely listen to Feel Like a Rockstar, El Cerrito Place, and Always Gonna Be You.
An added bonus to buying the album is you get video of a live performance of You and Tequila with Grace Potter that ends with the ENTIRE audience singing word for word the chorus VERY clearly. I always love when that happens.
Are you a Kenny Chesney fan? Did you get the album? Do you have any favorite songs yet?
