Employee Picks – Beth Ann
When I started looking at Beth Ann’s picks, the boots were what I pulled up first…because of her quote I had to! She said, “best part of my outfit are these boots, just look at them!” Well, ok…let’s look at them!
Women’s Corral Boots with Rose Embroidery & Sequin Horseshoes. Beth Ann, you are right! These are some hot boots. They have a 13″ black distressed crater shaft, black horse shoe inlay, rose embroidery, snip toe, and 2″ fashion heel. What more could a girl need?
Let’s see what Beth Ann paired them with…
Pin It
This Adiktd Women’s Long Sleeve Plaid Shirt with Floral Print has a plaid print all over, long sleeves, snap down front, two flap snap pockets, and a floral print on the front right side and back side. Beth Ann said, “I really like the colors and teh floral print gives a little spin on this western shirt.”
For jeans, she picked Stetson Women’s 816 Stretch Denim Classic Boot Cut Jeans – Dark Wash, her reason being that in her opinion a dark was is a bit classier than a light wash. What do you think? Do you agree with Beth Ann? I am more of a dark wash girl myself, but I know some people are loyal to a lighter fade. What side are you on?
Rounding out the look are these Kender West Turquoise Floral Dangle Hoop Earrings. According to Beth Ann, they are “cute and simple.”
What do you think? Is this an outfit you are ready to rock?
Wear It: You & Tequila
Kenny Chesney’s duet with Grace Potter, You & Tequila is in heavy rotation on my iPod. I’ve always been a huge Kenny Chesney fan but now with this duet I’m a Grace Potter and the Nocturnals fan as well. I just love her voice. She wears a multitude of outfits in this video, but I love the one that she wears where they feature her singing. Check it out:
I love the flowy dress with the structured jacket and the tall boots. She’s accessorized with a belt and a long necklace. Here’s how I would do it Langston’s style:

Stetson Women’s Long Sleeve Dress – Cream
Levi’s ® Women’s Trucker Jacket – Blue Thunder
Kender West Women’s Chain Necklace with Five Cross Charm Dangle
Iron Horse Women’s Lady Rodeo Belt with Buckle – Brown
Corral Women’s Vintage Deer Knee High Cowboy Boots – Cognac
So what do you think? Is that your favorite outfit of the video or is there another you’d like to see us create for you? Tell us!!
Fall Trend – Lace
Lace has been popping up everywhere as a huge trend for Fall. I love how you can play up the sexy side of it, or dress it down for a casual look, or even make it work for work!
This lace shirt by Roper has the sort of built in tank with it – so you don’t need to layer it with anything else.
I’d pair this with some bright boot (Corral Red Boots), a statement necklace (Cindy Smith) and a night on the town.
For a more casual look, I would go for one of these shirts by Ariat, the burn out tee or the lace henly.
You would want to layer both of these with a tank or tee under them. I think the burn out tee is a great casual option for every day wear. I’d pair it with a lighter tee or tank to really high light the texture of the fabric. The lace henly could be paired with a dark tee and worn under a jack to work…as long as your work isn’t too much of a suit and tie environment!
So what do you think? Is the lace trend one you will try?
New Music Releases
We have two releases today! Scotty McCreery’s debut album Clear As Day and Rodney Atkins Take A Back Road.

First up, Scotty McCreery! I’m turbo excited to hear what the American Idol winner has to offer us in his debut album. Mark Bright produced Scotty’s album and in case you aren’t aware, he has produced Lee Ann Womack, Gary Allan, Mark Chestnutt, Trisha Yearwood, Brooks & Dunn, Gretchen Wilson, Phil Vassar, Joe Nichols, Clint Black, Montgomery Gentry, Randy Houser & Josh Turner. So I do believe Scotty is on the road to success!!
Here are my pics from a first listen: Walk in the Country, Dirty Dishes, That Old King James. Listen up!

Next, Rodney Atkins new album Take a Back Road. This is Rodney’s 4th album and his latest single, the title track of the album, Take a Back Road is his fastest rising single of his career! Atkins also co-wrote 3 of the songs on the album, which I always find pretty awesome! I’m always very impressed by artists that can write and sing and do everything themselves!
Here are my pics from a first listen: Take a Back Road, The Corner, Feet, Tips, Lifelines, Farmer’s Daughter. Ha! I guess I like a lot of this album right off the bat.
