Robert Earl Keen, Merry Christmas from the Family-If you haven’t heard of Robert Earl Keen you need to familiarize yourself immediately. He’s known as “Texas Country” but really I think everyone knows someone like these people he sings about in Merry Christmas from the Family. Check it out, this is one of my favorite Christmas songs ever.
Faith Hill, A Baby Changes Everything-In sharp contrast to REK’s Christmas song, my next fav is Faith Hill’s A Baby Changes Everything. Great song. Enough said.
Dolly Parton, Hard Candy Christmas-An oldie but goodie!!
George Strait, Merry Christmas Strait to You-At my first job, the owner used to play this album over and over and over again during the holidays. This song definitely stuck with me.
Lee Ann Womack, Baby, It’s Cold Outside-This features Harry Connick Jr and its by far my favorite version of this song I’ve heard. Love it!
