2010 OKC Run with the Bulls Postponed

In an attempt to revitalize and re-spark the event and it’s participants, Stockyards City Main Street has decided to postpone the Oklahoma City Run with the Bulls 5K race until Spring 2011.

So it looks like I have more than enough time to train and get ready. Are you planning on running this Spring? Maybe we can get a Langston’s group together?!?! Post a comment and let me know if you are interested!

Daisy Dukes

Back when I was in 8th grade alllllll those years ago, we made our own jean shorts. I pretty much did this all through college. The problem with the home made shorts is that I always, always made them too short by mistake. I would cut and then keep cutting to try and get an even hem and by the time they were even, I was up for a staring role in the Dukes of Hazard. My solution this year was the denim shorts by Lucky’s. No cutting required!!

I’m going more for this…

And not so much this…

Unless someone has a trainer they can send over to get my legs into shape!

Round up of Men’s Shirts

A few days ago I talked about the hot men featured in People Magazine’s article on the Men of Country Music. It got me to thinking about our men…husbands, boyfriends, brothers, friends…let’s outfit them and get them looking their best. Here are some of my favorite shirts right now…

Rough Stock by Panhandle Slim, Roper Western Vine Snap Shirt

Panhandle Slim Knit PoloRoper Western Plaid Snap Shirt

The Men of Country Music

Thank you People Magazine for your July 2010 Country Special. Country’s Hottest Guys was a few pages of eye candy to fill my afternoon. Anyone who doesn’t like country music should take a look at this spread. It is enough to convince anyone to take a second look at the genre. I think the section on Tim McGraw was great…he and Faith are such a cute couple. There is one pic where he is not wearing a hat and WOW..who knew. I mean, he looks pretty darn nice with a hat on, but he’s pretty smoking hot with it off too.

Speaking of hats, Chris Young says it’s all about the hat. He only takes his off to prove there is some hair under there, but he likes to keep it on.

David Nail on the other hand sees no need for a hat.

Either way, hats off to People for a great eye candy article.
